18 Apr “Give Yourself Permission” Manifesto
Permission /pəˈmɪʃ(ə)n/: The action of officially allowing someone to do a particular thing; Consent or Authorization; The right to do something that is given to you by someone in authority.
Have you ever thought about which camp you fall into when it comes to permission? Do you wait for others to grant you permission to do the things you want to do? Or do you look to give yourself permission?
To me. To you. To all of us. To give ourselves permission.
Give yourself permission to do the things you want to do.
Give yourself permission to control your own circumstances. Take time to consider opportunities that come your way and say “No” if it doesn’t empower or serve you.
Give yourself permission to question conventional wisdom and assumptions and revisit the rules around you.
Give yourself permission to break out of your comfort zone.
Give yourself permission to embrace a growth mindset and to stretch and develop your abilities and skills.
Give yourself permission to experiment, to fail and to try again.
Give yourself permission to be a leader in your day to day life and seize opportunities around you.
Give yourself permission to stop competing with others and learn to be a successful team player.
Give yourself permission to do the “right” thing as opposed to the “smart” thing.
Give yourself permission to “never miss an opportunity to be fabulous” and deliver your best.
Thank you Dr. Tina Seelig for sharing your life lessons and advice on living an entrepreneurial life filled with purpose and passion. Good reminders for all of us at any age!
