Dr. Golnaz Golnaraghi

Golnaz, Founder of Divity Group Inc. is a consultant and management scholar with more than 14 years of leadership and team development experience. Her passion to help advance representation and leadership of self-identified women of colour at all levels in organizations is what led her to launch Accelerate Her Future in 2019, a career accelerator offering leadership and career development programming for early talent.

Through Divity Group, she offers a human-centred approach to experiential facilitation, transformative learning and development, program and curriculum design working with clients in the start-up/SME, higher education, and non-profit sectors. Her latest project encompasses leading the social enterprise programming for a GTA-based college entrepreneurship incubator. In 2013, she was co-recipient of a significant research grant through MTCU to study the efficacy of an experiential learning model she designed for leadership development courses. Prior to starting her own company and entering academia, Golnaz’s career spanned 15 years in marketing management roles with multinational consulting and professional services firms.

Golnaz has successfully designed and delivered learning experiences to more than 4,000 individuals, creating safe and dynamic spaces for transformative learning and growth. She is an accomplished educator, senior facilitator, researcher and author, who is certified in a number of individual and team assessments including FourSight Breakthrough Thinking, MHS EQi2.0/EQ360, Psychometrics MBTI and Kairios Values Perspectives. Golnaz is a certified creative problem solving facilitator and master trainer in the 4MAT4Business instructional design methodology.

Golnaz holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Masters of Business Administration degrees from the University of British Columbia. She also earned her Doctor of Business Administration in Organizational Analysis from Athabasca University where she explored critical theoretical perspectives and studied feminism and postcolonial theory. She is currently an Associate Faculty at Royal Roads University.

She has presented her work at Academy of Management, CMS and given a TEDx Talk. Golnaz has also published her research in books and peer review journals including the International Journal of Cross-Cultural Management, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion: An International Journal, and The Oxford Handbook of Diversity in Organizations.

Golnaz is passionate about the entrepreneurship ecosystem as a mentor, investor and proud funder of women-led start-ups through SheEO and The Founders Fund and volunteers her time mentoring girls from diverse cultural backgrounds through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton & Hamilton.
